This four spindle multi drill head was made for a customer who needed to mount it onto a machine that was less than perfectly stable.  By adding bronze bushed guide rod holes, we made it possible for the customer to stabilize the head.

The head was an ER20 style device with industry standard ER20A style spindles and collet nuts. The collets are available from a number of CNC supply houses worldwide.

A head like this could be mounted to an automatic drill, a CNC machine, a drill press, a simple mill, or even onto the face of a motor for a custom slide application, etc.  The sky is the limit with AutoDrill gang drill heads.
